Anyone with a broad foot usually buys a size up and slides around in the shoe all day. The ERGO-MED 645 XP comes in special width 14 and keeps the full class S3S package. In an ESD protected area one figure matters most: for its ESD shoes Atlas guarantees a person, shoe and floor resistance below 10 to the power of 8 ohms, that is below 100 MOhm, measured to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The wearer is discharged on the way to the line, before any component is touched.

What sets this model apart

  • Class S3S to EN ISO 20345:2022 means a closed heel area, antistatic construction, an energy absorbing heel, resistance to water penetration and absorption, a cleated outsole and a non metallic penetration resistant insert. The final S marks the tougher test with the 3.0 mm nail instead of the 4.5 mm one.
  • Anatomically shaped steel toe cap, tested at 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression. The abrasion resistant MPU toe guard takes the wear that kneeling work causes.
  • The XP penetration resistant layer is a high tech textile with aramid fibres. It is metal free, very light and allows the natural torsion of the foot, unlike a steel midsole.
  • Special width 14 from the Atlas multi width system. Even standard width 10 is built broad and foot friendly, width 14 goes well beyond that and suits very wide or swollen feet.
  • MPU INNOFLEX System with MPU REBOUND SYSTEM. The CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs the impact, the large MPU tread areas return the energy to the next step. Add the moisture regulating aktiv-X lining and soft SOFT nubuck of around 2 mm.
  • As a blueline model of the ERGO-MED series the shoe is released under DGUV rule 112-191 for orthopaedic insoles and for certified modifications such as raised soles and heels.
