Class S1 women's safety shoe on a dedicated ladies last, built for ESD protected workplaces. Measured as the person, shoe and floor system to DIN EN 61340-5-1, the through resistance stays below 100 MOhm, so sensitive components take no discharge damage. A 200 joule toe cap, the SPORTY LIGHT outsole and a replaceable insole with heel cushioning carry the shift.

A woman's foot is not a scaled down men's last, and a safety shoe that ignores this starts to pinch by the second half of the shift. The GX 260 sits on a dedicated ladies fit that Atlas calls women's fit, and it is built for ESD protected workplaces. Measured as the person, shoe and floor system to DIN EN 61340-5-1, the through resistance stays below 100 MOhm, so the wearer charge drains away before it reaches an assembly.

EN ISO 20345 allows antistatic footwear anywhere between 100 kOhm and 1000 MOhm. For the ESD version Atlas additionally guarantees the narrower value below 100 MOhm, which is what an EPA set up to DIN EN 61340-5-1 asks for.

What sets this model apart

  • Safety class S1 to EN ISO 20345 means a 200 joule toe cap, closed heel area, energy absorption in the heel and antistatic construction. For dry hall and laboratory floors without a nail risk this is the lightest sensible level.
  • The outsole is a SPORTY LIGHT from the MPU Light sole technology, which Atlas developed specifically for women's feet with the focus on soft bedding and low weight.
  • Replaceable insole with heel cushioning. Anyone wearing their own orthopaedic insert simply swaps it, and the shoe is approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191.
  • The MPU REBOUND SYSTEM returns part of the impact energy during roll off, which takes noticeable load off standing and walking across a full shift.
  • A high tech mesh upper wraps the foot closely and stays breathable. Together with the clima-stream concept and the aktiv-X lining the climate inside the shoe stays predictable in warm halls.
  • Size range 35 to 43 in standard width 10, which Atlas cuts broad and foot shaped.
