The FLASH 3200 BOA is the light low shoe for that job: mesh upper, alu-tec aluminium toe cap to EN ISO 20345:2022 with 200 joules impact energy and a dial closure instead of laces. As an ESD model Atlas keeps the person-shoe-floor resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
What sets this shoe apart
- Dissipative to DIN EN 61340-5-1. For its ESD models Atlas guarantees a resistance below 100 MOhm for the person-shoe-floor measuring chain. The wearer's charge drains through the sole into the dissipative floor instead of discharging into an assembly.
- BOA Fit System instead of laces. The dial tightens a strong steel lace evenly through low friction guides, can be operated with gloves and readjusted millimetre by millimetre while seated. No lace to catch in a machine.
- alu-tec aluminium toe cap to EN ISO 20345, tested at 200 joules impact energy and 15 kN compression. Aluminium delivers the same protection as steel at clearly less weight and conducts cold less strongly.
- MPU INNOFLEX system as the outsole. Flex grooves support the roll-off, the dynamic plates in the forefoot transfer forward energy and the CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs impact forces. The MPU REBOUND SYSTEM returns the absorbed energy into the push-off.
- High-tech mesh as the upper. The air texture of the fabric keeps air moving, the foot climate stays comfortable across the shift and the shoe carries clearly less weight than a leather upper.
- The aktiv-X functional lining regulates temperature and moisture, resists abrasion and does not bleed colour. After the shift the shoe dries out quickly.
- Width 10, the broad and foot-friendly standard width from Atlas. Anyone needing more volume will find alternatives in the manufacturer's multi-width system.
- Released for insole fitting according to DGUV rule 112-191. An orthopaedic insole may replace the footbed without voiding the type examination.
