Flush-cutting gold, silver or copper wire inside an ESD protected area requires sharp blades as well as a dissipative coating. The 5-879-13 combines the 10 mm wide, extremely hard blades of the carbon steel cutting tweezers with a black ESD coating rated at 10^6 to 10^9 ohms surface resistance.
