The CU 4 is the external control unit that turns a CNC-ready Proxxon machine into a full CNC machine. The CU 4 is the control hub for CNC-ready Proxxon machines. It links up to four axes to your control PC via standard SUB-D connectors and supplies power to the stepper motors, turning a manually prepared machine into a full CNC machine.
- Four micro-step drivers control up to four axes with both fine resolution and power.
- Standard SUB-D connectors (9-pole) per axis, plus a feedback input such as a limit switch for each axis.
- Switched 230 V outlet up to 2,500 W turns the milling spindle or other functions on and off directly from the software.
- Sturdy steel housing of powder-coated sheet protects the electronics in workshop use.
- Software-open: works with Mach3/4, Estlcam, Beamicon and WinPC-NC, via an LPT adapter for the parallel port if needed.
