Metal-In Shielding Bubble Bag, 150 x 255 mm, 25 mm Flap, Pack of 10 - Desco 200515

Sensitive assemblies leaving the plant need two things at once: protection from electrostatic discharge and cushioning against impact. Desco shielding bag 200515 combines both. A metallised film forms a Faraday cage, while the pink bubble film beneath adds an air gap and absorbs mechanical stress. Discharge shielding is below 20 nJ, and according to Desco the bag shields about twice as well as a standard shielding bag of the same size.

Applications

Shipping and storing ESD sensitive PCBs, modules and spare parts outside the EPA, service returns and transfers between sites. Store bags dry, at around 20 °C and out of direct sunlight so the aluminium layer does not oxidise. Discard damaged bags.

Meets IEC 61340-5-1 and packaging standard IEC 61340-5-3 (except packaging marking). Surface resistance tested per IEC 61340-2-3, discharge shielding per IEC 61340-4-8. No RoHS 2 restricted materials or REACH SVHC intentionally added.
