Assemblies leaving the EPA need packaging that cushions without charging up on its own. The Permastat cushion pouch in 150 x 225 mm format is made of a three-layer polyethylene film of 120 µm and bleeds off charges at a typical resistance of 10^10 - 10^11 ohm.

Application

Shipping and interim storage of populated boards, connectors and spare parts that leave the ESD protected area. The dissipative grade keeps the packaging itself from charging up and discharging into the part on removal. Where shielding against external fields is also required, the silver Highshield pouches are the alternative.
