Cylinder Probe 63 mm, 2.3 kg, for Rp, Rg and Rv Resistance Testing, with Test Certificate - Desco 222008

Only a measurement shows whether a worksurface, mat or shelf in the EPA is really grounded. The Desco cylinder probe brings the defined 2.3 kg weight and 63 mm contact diameter that EN 61340-5 test methods assume, and gives repeatable readings when connected to a resistance meter.

Applications

Rg: place the probe on the surface, connect the meter to the probe and to ground, measure at 100 V. Rp: lay the material on an insulative surface such as clean glass and measure lengthwise and crosswise with two probes. Rv: sandwich the material between two probes, the lower one upside down. Typical for EPA qualification, audits to EN 61340-5-1 and incoming inspection of mats and flooring.
