One probe is not enough to qualify and audit an EPA: point-to-point and volume resistance are measured between two electrodes. The Desco set contains two cylinder probes of 2.3 kg each with a 63 mm contact diameter in a carry case and, with a resistance meter, covers all three EN 61340-5 measurements.

Applications

Rg: place the probe on the surface, connect the meter to the probe and to ground, measure at 100 V. Rp: lay the material on an insulative surface such as clean glass and measure lengthwise and crosswise with two probes. Rv: sandwich the material between two probes, the lower one upside down. Typical for EPA qualification, audits to EN 61340-5-1 and incoming inspection of mats and flooring.
