Whether a bench mat, a package or a tote is really dissipative can be settled on the spot in a few seconds. The Vermason Surface Resistance Checker measures from 1 x 10³ to 1 x 10¹² ohms with built-in parallel electrodes and switches from 10 V to 100 V by itself once the reading reaches 1 x 10⁶ ohms.
