With a 10 mm socket at both ends, this cord links two stud connections directly, for example a mat to the 10 mm stud of an earth bonding point. The low-profile conical head offers little to catch on, so an elbow or workpiece will not easily knock it loose.

Standards

IEC 61340-5-1 calls for ground cords between groundable points and the ground facility. Where a resistor is used, it should be close to the groundable point. As this cord has no resistor, any required resistor must be present elsewhere in the ground path.
