Dust, dirt and foreign object debris have to come off PCBs without the high charges that conventional brushes generate even when held by grounded personnel. This Menda ESD brush has permanently dissipative nylon 6.12 bristles and a conductive carbon loaded polypropylene handle, resistance RTT 1 x 10⁹ to < 1 x 10¹¹ ohms. The flat shape with a 22 mm wide bristle area suits PCB surfaces and connector rows.

Resistance measured per modified ANSI/ESD S4.1. The conductive handle fulfils the ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirement to ground all conductors at the ESD workstation when the brush is used by grounded personnel.
