Dust, dirt and foreign object debris have to come off PCBs without the high charges that conventional brushes generate even when held by grounded personnel. This Menda ESD brush has permanently dissipative nylon 6.12 bristles and a conductive carbon loaded polypropylene handle, resistance RTT 1 x 10⁹ to < 1 x 10¹¹ ohms. The long, narrow handle guides the 32 mm wide bristle area between tall components and into housings.

Applications

Standards

Resistance measured per modified ANSI/ESD S4.1. The conductive handle fulfils the ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirement to ground all conductors at the ESD workstation when the brush is used by grounded personnel.
