ESD Brush, Round, Soft Bristles, Ø 6 mm, Dissipative Handle - Desco 238105

Brushing circuit boards easily generates electrostatic charge through friction, especially with synthetic bristles. In this brush, conductive fibres are worked into the natural bristles. They prevent charge build-up even at low humidity and drain existing charges through the dissipative handle to the grounded user. The soft 6 mm bristles remove dust from optics, drives and delicate surfaces without scratching them.

Applications

For dusting optics, sensors, drives and delicate assemblies, and for laboratory and chemical applications in the ESD protected area. The brush only drains charges when the user is grounded, for example via a wrist strap.
