Brushing circuit boards easily generates electrostatic charge through friction, especially with synthetic bristles. In this brush, conductive fibres are worked into the natural bristles. They prevent charge build-up even at low humidity and drain existing charges through the dissipative handle to the grounded user. The angled head with a 35 mm bristle width gets under overhanging components and into housing corners a straight brush cannot reach.

Applications

For PCB cleaning, rework and repair in electronics production, especially on SMD assemblies, and for cleaning tools and fixtures in the ESD protected area. The brush only drains charges when the user is grounded, for example via a wrist strap.
