ESD Earth Bonding Point Cord, 2 Banana Jacks, 10 mm Stud, 4.5 m to 10 mm socket, 1 Megohm - Desco 60349

One part grounds both the table mat and the operator: the bonding point snaps onto the 10 mm stud of the mat and provides two banana jacks for wrist straps or carts. The 4.5 m cord runs to ground via a 1 megohm resistor and ends in a 10 mm socket. The low-profile housing does not snag clothing or tools.

Applications

For grounding table mats with a 10 mm snap and connecting wrist straps with banana plugs at the same workstation. Ground each mat separately, never daisy-chain. IEC 61340-5-1 calls for an easily accessible dedicated bonding point for the wrist strap at each workstation and for ground cords connecting all groundable items to EPA ground. A nominal 1 megohm resistor is common practice for grounding worksurfaces according to EN 61340-5-2.
