The right width for every joint: these Desco desoldering braids come in widths from 0.635 mm to 3.2 mm, from fine SMD pads to large lands. Every variant is made of clean, oxide-free copper wire in a tight weave and carries a flux formulated for the higher activation temperatures of lead-free solder. Applications

Rework and repair of printed circuit boards, computers, mobile phones and other electronic assemblies in lines using RMA no-clean fluxes. The dissipative bobbins can stay at the workstation inside the EPA.

Standards

Flux to ANSI/J-STD-004 and IPC J-STD-004B type L0, surface insulation resistance per Bellcore GR-78-CORE (TR-TSY-000078) and IPC Test Method III. Every bobbin carries a lot code. Desco warrants the braid for two years from manufacture when stored in its original container.
