Desoldering Braid Quick Braid, antistatic, 1.27 to 3.2 mm wide, pack of 25 - Desco

Quick Braid desoldering braids take up excess solder from pads and component leads during rework. They are woven from clean, oxide-free copper wire in a tight, fine pattern. A short length soaks up the solder, which keeps braid consumption per joint low.

Choose the width to match pad and lead size: narrow braid for fine SMD structures, wider braid for large lands and through-hole leads. The width can also be identified by the colour code of the bobbin.

Bobbins are static dissipative in line with the ESD Association standard and suitable for use in an EPA. Flux classification per IPC J-STD-004B.
