The i-CON PICO is the station for very small joints, and what matters there is how quickly the tip is back at temperature. This kit replaces the older 0130CDK iron with the i-TOOL PICO MK2 (0135CDK): an 80 W micro heating element at 16.5 V, room temperature to 350 °C in about 9 seconds.

Benefits in detail

• Recovery from 280 °C standby in roughly 3 seconds, so there is no waiting between two joints.
• Tip'n'Turn bayonet lock instead of a screw fitting, so tips change without tools and without jamming.
• Tip series 142 with better heat transfer, supplied with the 1.6 mm chisel ERSADUR-LF long-life tip 0142CDLF16.
• Heating element 014100J and tip are separate, so worn tips are replaced individually.
• Holding spring 383975 included, letting the existing 0A53 stand hold the new iron securely.

Application and compatibility

Intended for the i-CON PICO MK1 station 0IC1300 running the earlier 0130CDK iron. Typical use is fine work on SMD assemblies, repair and laboratory tasks. The kit also moves the consumable to tip series 142.
