The asymmetric grind on this 2.4 mm face compensates for the approach angle, so heat still transfers across the full flat even when the iron is tilted.

Application
Rework and repair on populated assemblies, joints close to tall parts, connector terminals and cable lugs. Where the iron can stand vertically, the straight version 0142CDLF24 is the simpler choice.
Compatibility
For the i-Tool MK2 and the i-Tool TRACE and i-Con TRACE irons only. Series 142 tips do not fit the first generation i-Tool.
