ERSADUR soldering tips are produced to a high standard and built for continuous operation. In a special process they are electroplated with an iron layer and protected against corrosion and oxidation by an additional chromium layer. Perfect heat transfer protects the heating element of the soldering iron against overheating and premature wear.

The high-performance tips have an asymmetric design. This allows more flexible use than conventional shapes and brings the heat optimally into the solder joint. The special geometry ensures highly efficient heat input on through-hole (THT) components on thermally massive assemblies: one of the two legs of differing length heats the component lead with up to 150 watts, while the second leg rests on the solder joint and transfers the maximum soldering energy.
