Ersadur Lötspitze i-Tool MK2 & Trace, THT-Spitze 1,8/5,2 mm - Ersa 0142YDLF1852

Power terminals, transformer tags and heavy pin headers drain so much heat that a small THT tip brings the joint up to temperature only slowly. The large THT geometry with 1.8 and 5.2 mm faces clearly increases the contact area over the 1.2/2.4 mm version and shortens the time the tip has to stay on the part.

Features

• THT hoof geometry, 1.8 and 5.2 mm, the largest bearing area among the THT shapes in this series.
• Hollow ground face wraps the component lead while resting on the pad at the same time.
• The solder reservoir in the hollow starts wetting instead of having to build it up by feeding wire first.
• ERSADUR long-life tip, galvanic iron plating with a chrome layer against corrosion and oxidation.
• Series 142 shank, 7.70 mm outside and 5.30 mm inside, hot change via the bayonet fitting.
• RoHS compliant.

Technical data

Application

Power parts with heavy leads, screw and spring terminals, transformer and choke connections, plus repairs on assemblies with substantial plated holes. Finer through-hole joints are better served by the 1.2 / 2.4 mm shape.

Compatibility

For the i-Tool MK2 and the i-Tool TRACE and i-Con TRACE irons only. Series 142 does not fit the first generation i-Tool.
