Large assemblies rarely fit the holder of a standard rework station. The Ersa HR 550L takes boards up to 520 x 360 mm and heats them from below with 2400 W of infrared in three zones, while the 1900 W hybrid top heater works on 70 x 70 mm at the component.

What sets the L version apart

• Extra large board holder for PCBs up to 520 x 360 mm instead of the standard format.
• Bottom heater of 2400 W over 390 x 270 mm in three separately driven zones for even warm-up.
• 1900 W hybrid top heater built from 900 W of medium wave infrared plus convection heating.
• Contactless and contacting temperature measurement at the component, with a vacuum pipette and force sensor for removal and placement.
• Computer aided alignment with digital split optics, 70 x 70 mm wide field and 25 x 33 mm tele field.
• System weight of 55 kg and a single phase supply of 220 to 240 V at 16 A.

Use and compatibility

The L version pays off wherever assemblies larger than 400 x 300 mm are handled, such as backplanes, power electronics and large control boards. With additional accessories the system also handles 01005 parts down to 0.4 x 0.2 mm. The HR 550L is prepared for use with the Ersa Dip and Print station.
