Boards with cut outs, notches or angled edges rarely seat cleanly in the standard frame. A single unsupported edge is enough for the board to sag under the bottom heater and for the component to drift out of plane. The additional holder places one more bearing point exactly there and brings the assembly back to flat.

Rework on assemblies with cut outs, tabs or chamfered corners, on long narrow boards, and on boards already carrying tall components that limit where support may be applied.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as 1 piece. The holder is intended as an addition to the board frames of the Ersa HR 600 series. Several unsupported edges call for a corresponding number of pieces.
