Floor puzzle ProFloor PF 68

The ProFloor PF 68 ESD interlocking floor tile measures 503 x 503 x 6.8 mm, is dark grey and conductive: surface resistance and resistance to ground lie between 104 and 106 Ω, uniform across the whole surface. The click interlock allows installation without adhesive, and the tiles can be lifted and relaid. The floor is rated for trolleys and pallet trucks up to 600 kg. Earthing is provided by an earthing tile with a DK 10 stud, and flat ramps in dark grey and yellow finish the floor towards the surrounding surface.

How to choose Floor puzzle ProFloor PF 68

What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.

Technical features

⚡ Conductive, 104 to 106 Ω - surface resistance and resistance to ground uniform across the whole tile, tested to EN 1081, walking test to EN 1815
↕ 503 x 503 x 6.8 mm - dimensionally stable, Shore A 92, chemical resistant, reduces dust and noise
⚙ Click interlock - loose laying without adhesive, relayable, insulates against cold and moisture from below
✓ R10 and Bfl-s1 - slip resistance class R10, reaction to fire Bfl-s1 to EN 13501-1
📦 Load rated up to 600 kg - for trolleys and pallet trucks

The earthing tile is laid into the floor like a standard tile and connected to earth via the DK 10 earthing plug with Euro plug (1 MΩ safety resistor) or the DK10 earthing cord. The ramps have a very flat leading edge and are easy to drive over, but they are not dissipative and therefore belong at the edge of the EPA floor. The corner ramp element closes the outer corner, and the yellow version marks EPA boundaries and the edges of traffic routes.

At 6.8 mm the PF 68 builds up lower and is conductive. If you need a thicker tile with more mechanical reserve, or the PF 105B tile for battery rooms, see Floor puzzle ProFloor. Which resistance grade is required is set by the ESD control programme to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

Frequently asked questions

How is ProFloor PF 68 earthed?
Via the earthing tile with DK 10 stud and 2 m carbon fibre tape. The stud is connected to the DK 10 earthing plug with Euro plug or to the DK10 earthing cord. How many earthing points a floor needs is defined by the ESD control programme.
Are the ramps dissipative?
No. Ramps and corner ramps are not ESD versions. They form the edge finish with a very flat leading edge, and the yellow version also marks the EPA boundary.
What loads can the floor take?
The tiles are rated for trolleys and pallet trucks up to 600 kg. The flat ramps are easy to drive over.
How does PF 68 differ from ProFloor 608 mm?
PF 68 is 6.8 mm thick and conductive at 10⁴ to 10⁶ Ohm. ProFloor 608 mm is 10.5 mm thick and dissipative, with ramps measuring 608 x 100 mm.
