Cable cutter PowerBlade, drill attachment, copper up to 380 mm², aluminium up to 506 mm² - IDEAL 35-078

When large feeder cables have to be cut to length, the PowerBlade lets an existing drill do the work instead of your arms. It cuts copper cable up to 380 mm² and aluminium cable up to 506 mm² and is clamped in the drill chuck via a 10 mm drive shaft.

Usage notes

• Use on de-energised cables only and always wear safety glasses.
• Do not cut steel-armoured cable, ACSR or any other material containing steel.
• Set the drill to 1500 RPM. Cutting large cable at high speed will damage the gears. A reversible drill is strongly recommended.
• Never operate without the torque arm installed. Always replace blades as a pair.
