Inside a control cabinet every centimetre counts, and on live parts the tested insulation counts. The 95 36 250 cable cutter is VDE tested to IEC 60900 for 1000 V and cuts copper and aluminium cables up to 32 mm dia. at a tool length of only 250 mm.

Areas of use

Electrical installation and control cabinet building, work on distribution boards and substations, service on installations that may be live. Suitable for cables with single and multi-wire conductors of conductor classes 1 and 2. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded highly flexible conductors.

Standards and conformity

The grip insulation is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for live working up to 1000 V. Conductor classes 1 and 2 refer to DIN EN 60228, VDE 0295 and IEC 60228. According to the manufacturer the cutter contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply.
