Applications

Medium is the size electronics production reaches for most often. Populated boards can be held at the edge or flat on the surface without the assembly building up fresh charge as it is moved. The same effect matters when single semiconductor components are handled. On moulded plastic parts the second benefit comes into play, because the microfibre takes the clinging dust with it instead of pushing it around.

Care

Wash soiled gloves out in a mild soap solution. The manufacturer also clears the washing machine at 30 to 40 °C and the tumble dryer after it. Since the effect sits in the fabric rather than in an additive, it survives the wash.
