Anti-static microfibre cloth 450 x 250 mm for wet cleaning - Kinetronics PC-BP

Wet cleaning a sensitive surface asks two things of a cloth at once. It has to pick the soil up, and it must not leave a fresh charge behind that pulls the next layer of dust straight back on. The Kinetronics Panther Cloth PC-BP is built for work with liquids, and at 450 x 250 mm it covers a large area in one pass.

• Not soaked, not impregnated: the dissipative effect does not rely on a liquid that can dry out or evaporate. It comes from conductive polyester fibres spaced 4 mm apart, so it stays constant for the whole service life of the cloth.

• Washable without losing conductivity: 25 to 100 washes depending on how dirty it gets, and washing does not impair the dissipative effect.

• High soil pick-up: hundreds of thousands of tiny pockets in the microfibre hold the particles, supported by a light soil-release additive.

Applications

Reach for the PC-BP wherever sensitive surfaces are cleaned with a liquid and a fresh charge would be a nuisance. The cloth ships dry and only takes up the cleaning solution at the point of use. While you wipe, the fabric keeps a new charge from forming. The large format folds several times, which gives you a clean face for every pass. For purely dry work Kinetronics offers the same fabric in orange as the Tiger Cloth ASC. Because no conductive liquid sits in the Panther Cloth, the manufacturer also rates it as favourable from a dermatological point of view during longer sessions.

Care and washing

Wash the cloth with other synthetic fibres at 30 °C, preferably in a small load, using ordinary detergent on a gentle cycle. An extra rinse helps if your machine offers one. Tumble dry on low heat. Washing does not affect the conductivity. Expect 25 to 100 washes depending on how heavily the cloth is soiled. For optical cleaning the end of service life is reached once the fibres show visible breaks, because the cloth can start to lint from then on.
