Small surface mount parts on dense boards or on areas with large copper pours need even heat rather than a single hot point. The Oki HCT2-200-21 is a digital hot air station for light rework, whose 200 W ceramic heater and two-stage air pump cover a working range of 100 to 450 °C at 1.5 to 7 LPM.

Applications

Typical work includes removing and placing small SMD parts during repair and touch-up, prototype building and laboratory work, and service on populated assemblies. Controlled air flow combined with a fine nozzle lets a single component be heated without disturbing its neighbours.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The station is supplied with hot air handpiece, holder and six nozzles in the 1.5 to 4 mm range. It runs from a 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz supply, with a permissible ambient temperature of 10 to 40 °C.
