Focus convection preheater up to 300 °C, 230 V/450 W - Oki PCT-100-21

Hand rework on thermally heavy assemblies often fails because multilayer boards and ground planes drain the heat immediately. The Oki PCT-100 Focus preheat element brings the board up to temperature with 450 W of convection heating so the work can be done at a moderate tip temperature.

Applications

Preheating for manual SMT rework, removal of through-hole parts from multilayer boards and BGA or QFN work. Equally suited to thermally critical assemblies that require a gentle temperature gradient.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Version for 230 V mains supply. Supplied with the Focus preheating element, power cord and instruction manual. Accessories include the PCT-AR armrest and the BH-100 and BH-010 board holders, the replacement heater is the PCT-1HE-21.

The stated surface resistance of 10⁶ to 10¹¹ ohm is within the dissipative range required for ESD protected workplaces.
