Programmable preheater 25-400 °C, 1200 W, 4 zones - Oki PCT-1000

When large SMD packages are removed or fitted, the board pulls heat away from the joint. The PCT-1000 is a programmable preheater with 1200 W and a 25-400 °C control range that raises the assembly to profile temperature from below, so the joint itself needs less peak temperature.

Applications

Rework on BGA, QFN and large-area SMD packages, desoldering on multilayer boards with high thermal mass, repair of power electronics, and process development where repeatable heat profiles have to be documented.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The preheater works stand-alone or together with hand soldering and hot air systems. Delivery includes the programmable preheater, the type K thermocouple kit, a foot switch, the power cord and the user manual. The universal power supply accepts 100-240 V.
