Series 490
Single valves
The Aventics Series 490 consists of 3/2-way directional control valves in a direct-acting single-valve design. Two variants are available under part numbers 5724970220 and 5724990220, suitable for pneumatic control circuits requiring a compact 3/2 switching function.
Series 490 is suited to applications requiring a switchable 3/2-way valve as an individual component. Both available variants share the same switching function; detailed technical differences are provided in the Aventics datasheet. For higher flow requirements or more complex switching functions, valves from the LS04 or CL03-EV series are worth considering.
Typical applications: Control of single-acting pneumatic cylinders, exhaust and safety functions in control circuits, retrofitting and spare-part replacement in existing Aventics pneumatic systems in factory and process automation.
