Series DO
Single valves
The Aventics Series DO covers 3/2-way directional control valves in three frame sizes: DO22, DO30 and DO35. All variants are direct-acting solenoid valves operating at 24 V DC. The series addresses a broad range of industrial pneumatic applications, from single-acting cylinder control to compact switching assemblies.
The three frame sizes differ in nominal bore and flow capacity: DO22 for minimal installation space, DO30 as a mid-range format, and DO35 for higher flow rates. The 3/2 switching function is suited to single-acting actuators as well as exhaust and safety circuit tasks.

Frame size selection is primarily governed by the required flow rate and available installation space. For pressure-free start or low-pressure applications, the direct-acting DO series is preferred since no minimum pilot pressure is required.
Typical applications: Control of single-acting pneumatic cylinders in handling and assembly automation, exhaust functions in safety circuits, compact machine designs with limited installation space, and retrofitting into existing valve islands and individual valve applications in factory automation.
