Festo round cylinders (EG series) are single-acting pneumatic cylinders in round design with bore diameters from 2.5 to 6 mm. The range covers 11 items in three size groups: EG-2.5 (bore 2.5 mm), EG-4 (Ø 4 mm) and EG-6 (Ø 6 mm) with strokes from 5 to 25 mm. The connection to the compressed air tubing is made via push-in fitting (suffix -PK-2 or -PK-3), so no separate threaded port is required.
Bore Ø 2.5-6 mm - stroke 5-25 mm, very compact mini cylinder design
Single-acting - compressed air one direction, spring return or gravity
Push-in fitting - direct tube connection -PK-2 (2 mm) and -PK-3 (3 mm), no threaded port needed
Round profile - mounting via flange nuts or clamp brackets in confined spaces
Very low mass - for robot arms and miniature grippers with strict weight limits

Typical applications: Miniature grippers on collaborative robot arms, miniature automation in electronics manufacturing and medical technology, laboratory automation with direct tube connection, and special or prototype applications where very small cylinder diameter and low weight are decisive.
