Universal directional control valves
The Festo magnetic valve supplementary program contains complementary solenoid valve types outside the main Tiger 2000 and Tiger Classic series. The range includes 3/2- and 5/2-way solenoid valves in small nominal bores: BMCH-3-3-1/8 (3/3-way, bistable), MC-2-1/8, MCH-3-1/8, MFH-2-M5 and MFH-3-M5 (2/2 and 3/2-way, M5 port), as well as MOCH-3-1/8 and MOFH-3-M5. The program covers 8 articles in total.
These types suit specific switching and control functions where standard 5/2-way valves are not required, such as 2/2 shut-off functions (MFH-2-M5) or small-flow switching at the M5 port.

Key selection factors from the supplementary program are the required valve function and port size. For simple shut-off (2/2-way), MC-2-1/8 and MFH-2-M5 are available. Small-flow switching at M5 is covered by MFH-3-M5 and MOFH-3-M5. Bistable 3/3-way switching requires the BMCH-3-3-1/8. Separate exhaust (MFH-3-1/8-SEU) is relevant for aggressive media or cleanroom-critical areas.
Typical applications: Small-flow switching points with M5 connection in compact pneumatic systems, 2/2 shut-off functions in vacuum circuits and media lines, bistable holding circuits (BMCH), and applications requiring separate exhaust in cleanroom and medical environments.
