Valves VUWG
Universal directional control valves
The Festo VUWG valves are solenoid valves on the VUVG platform without integrated pilot supply (no PI suffix). The 54-article range covers body sizes L10A, L10 and L14 with M3, M5, M7 and G1/8 ports. The function range extends from bistable 5/2-way types (B52) through spring-return 5/2-way (M52-R) to 5/3-way mid-position variants (P53C, P53E, P53U) and manually-overridden 3/2-way types (T32C, T32H, T32U).
Compared to the VUVG series, the VUWG omits the integrated pilot air supply. External pilot supply allows operation with a separate pilot pressure, enabling use at low system pressures or with alternative pilot media.

Typical applications: Systems requiring a separate pilot pressure (e.g. different rated voltage or low system pressure), decentralised control of small actuators at M3 port in micro-handling, and 5/3-way control of differential cylinders with a defined mid-position in handling automation.
