Universal directional control valves
The Festo Tiger Classic valves cover pneumatically and electropneumatically actuated 5/2-way valves from the JDH, JH, JMFDH and JMFH series in port sizes 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 inch. Compared to the Tiger 2000 range, the Classic types specifically add the larger 1/2-inch nominal bore (JH-5-1/2, JMFH-5-1/2) for higher flow rates. Types with -S- in the code provide a special actuation variant; JMFDH types operate with a double solenoid coil.
ATEX EX versions are available for all Classic series, allowing the 1/2-inch size to be used in explosive-atmosphere zones 1 and 2 as well.

Typical applications: Control of cylinders with larger bores (1/2 inch) in heavy-duty handling and press applications, switching bistable pneumatic circuits with double-coil valves (JMFDH), general mechanical engineering, and ATEX applications in chemical and process industries.
