Universal directional control valves
The Festo VUWS valves are solenoid valves from the VUVG platform in the largest body sizes L25 (G1/4 port) and L30 (G3/8 port) for high flow rates. The 60-article range includes 5/2- and 5/3-way functions. The G1/4 and G3/8 port sizes cover applications with large cylinder bores that cannot be adequately supplied by the smaller VUVG types (L10, L14, L20).
The range offers spring-return types (M32C, M32U, M52), bistable 5/2-way (B52) and 5/3-way mid-position variants (P53C, P53U, P53E). Each body size is available in actuation variants A (single solenoid), E (externally actuated) and M (mid actuation).

Typical applications: Control of large pneumatic cylinders (from approx. 50 mm bore) in heavy industry and press applications, fast fill valves in pneumatic presses at G3/8 flow rates, 5/3-way control of heavy-duty linear axes with blocked or exhausted mid-position, and large-cylinder applications in steel processing and mining.
