The 9021QC-230-0.5 is built for exactly that and belongs on QUICK soldering robots of the ET94xxF-A series, which work with a travel range of 400 x 400 x 100 mm and an axis accuracy of ± 0,01 mm.
Why the guide has a say in the joint
- Inside an oversized tube, 0,5 mm wire buckles and pushes past the target instead of arriving cleanly at the tip.
- Small solder volumes rely on every programmed feed length really ending up as solder on the joint.
- The feeder perforates the wire automatically to reduce spatter, and only a guide free of burrs takes that well.
- For heavier joints on the same robot series there is the 9021QC-230-0.8 with 0,8 mm.

The 9021QC-500 tubes belong to the ET94xxE series and do not fit here. The ET9181 single axis soldering robot uses the 9021C guides.
