Hand soldering scatters: every joint gets a slightly different dwell time and a different amount of wire. The ET9181 takes both out of the operator's hands and pins them to fixed values, with solder time adjustable from 0.01 to 9.99 s and wire quantity set separately. The operator positions the work, the cycle itself repeats identically.

Typical work includes cable and stranded wire joints, USB and other connectors, terminals, switches and printed circuit boards in small batch and series production. The ET9181 replaces the manual station wherever the same joint has to come out the same way every time. Tips of the QU911G series fit the tool, and the wire path is completed with feed units in the matching wire gauge.
