Changing the filter in the desoldering iron of a Quick TV2+ is routine work, the annoying part is having no spare on the shelf. This pack holds ten TVS30-14 ceramic paper filters and therefore covers a whole maintenance series rather than a single change.

Where the filter sits

• The glass body filter belongs to the internal filter path inside the iron, not to the vacuum hose outside the station.
• During desoldering the extracted solder collects first in the residual solder container, with the filter tube directly behind it.
• The remaining air stream passes the ceramic paper filter and only then travels along the vacuum hose to the station.
• Ten original filters per pack, so an element is ready at every scheduled service.
• Condition decides the change, a worn or hardened element is replaced and never cleaned.

Changing the element

Switch the station off and let the desoldering iron cool down properly. Pull back the catch on the iron, take out the residual solder container, which exposes the filter tube so the element can be exchanged.

Scope of delivery and compatibility

Ten original Quick glass body filters are supplied. Desoldering iron, solder container and station are not included. The external 201B line filter in the vacuum hose is a separate part with its own change interval.
