A solder bridge between two pins does not clear with more heat, it clears when the surplus solder is carried away. The knife edge of this SS1 tip runs straight over 3.0 mm and picks the solder up as it is drawn along the row instead of spreading it between the leads.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility
For clearing solder bridges, drag soldering QFP and SOIC rows and working on multi-way connectors, on the QUICK TS1 cordless iron rated 10 W over 100 to 420 °C. Scope of delivery, one soldering tip. If a bevelled face holding a solder reservoir is wanted instead of a flank, the SS1-3C at 45 degrees is the matching shape in the same series.
