On connectors and terminals every missing millimetre of contact area costs time. The TSS08-4.2D puts 4.2 mm of chisel width on the joint, clearly more than the 3 mm shapes, while a 0.9 mm blade keeps the profile low enough for closely spaced neighbours.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility

For connectors, screw and spring terminals, cable lugs, tinning stranded wire and pads with a large copper connection. Scope of delivery, one cartridge soldering tip. It sits in the QUELKTSS80A handpiece of the Quick TS8 and TS8+ stations and can be exchanged within the TSS08R series for narrower chisels when the assembly changes. At the same width a flatter 0.5 mm blade is available.
