The pre-filter is the first stage of the three-stage filtration in the RE-FCE-001. It catches the coarse particles produced in soldering, assembly and similar work, dust, chips and small material residue.

That relieves the medium and main filters, which deal with fine dust and vapours. Their service life rises and extraction performance stays at the set level for longer. At 5 mm thick the filter takes little space in the unit without narrowing the air path.
