Filter mat M5 prefilter 577 x 577 x 5 mm for ACD 1200 MD.46 A46 Ex - ULT 4-00248

The M5 filter mat is the prefilter stage of the A46 Ex filter assembly in the ULT ACD 1200 MD.46 A46 Ex extraction unit rated 1,000 m³/h. ULT lists it as spare filter 4-00248.

Coarse dust particles are separated and retained in this first stage. Only then does the raw gas reach the two A23 adsorption filter cassettes, where gases and vapours are adsorbed on the activated carbon. Changing the mat on schedule keeps the pressure drop low and extends the service life of the far more expensive carbon stage.

Applications

Maintenance change on the ACD 1200 MD.46 A46 Ex, which captures odours, gases and vapours from processes such as bonding, pretreatment, painting and printing, cleaning, laminating and casting. A high dust load in the raw gas calls for a shorter change interval than pure vapour extraction.
