Soldering tip chisel sloped 45° 2.0 x 4.7 mm STTC series - Metcal STTC-114

A flat working angle in tight space: the 45° sloped STTC-114 chisel tip with 2 mm width and 4.7 mm tip length runs at a fixed 412 °C on Metcal STTC systems.

Applications

Proven for drag soldering SO and QFP lead rows, for reworking individual leads and for joints that must be approached at an angle from the side.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridge fits the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and therefore the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. Delivery includes one soldering tip cartridge with integrated heater, order unit piece.

The closed, electrically conductive cartridge design and the grounded tip support soldering on ESD sensitive assemblies inside an EPA according to IEC 61340-5-1.
