Combination filter cassette complete with metal shaft for series 150 to 250 - ULT 02.1.033

After long service intervals it rarely pays to buy back one stage at a time. The combination filter cassette 02.1.033 renews the entire filter train of the 150 to 250 series in one go, including the metal shaft and all individual elements.

Layout of the filter train

The air passes the stages in a fixed order. The expanded metal filter of knitted wire mesh catches cooled sticky aerosols and can be cleaned in an industrial washer, so it is reusable. The M5 and F7 filter mats then bind most of the particles. At the end the HEPA H13 filter of the H13A cassette retains the finest airborne matter while the activated carbon bed takes up gaseous and vaporous fractions. The contact time of the bed is matched to the nominal air flow of the unit.

Applications

In demand during a full overhaul of an extraction unit, when commissioning a second hand device, or after a process change that overloaded the previous filter configuration. It also makes sense as a spare cassette so an extraction point can be released again immediately after a fault.
