The Weller PT E9 is a PT soldering tip in a chisel shape, 5.6x1.2 mm wide, set to the fixed Magnastat operating temperature of 480 °C. The temperature is held by the iron's Magnastat sensor without any electronic control, giving repeatable joints on PCBs and components.
