Combination filter cassette H13 with activated carbon, metal shaft, series 150 to 250 - ULT 02.1.034

Solder fume carries particles and gaseous rosin decomposition products at the same time, so the unit needs both separation paths. The H13A combination filter cassette combines a HEPA H13 filter and an activated carbon filter in a shared metal shaft and is replaced complete as the main filter of the 150 to 250 series.

Function in the filter train

The cassette sits at the end of the filter train. The HEPA H13 filter retains the finest airborne matter while gaseous and vaporous contaminants attach to the surface of the activated carbon bed. The filter design follows the nominal air flow of the unit and the contact time is set for medium adsorption behaviour. Upstream M5 and F7 filter mats hold back cooled sticky aerosols and noticeably extend the service life of the cassette.

Applications

Scheduled filter changes on solder fume extraction units in electronics manufacturing, repair and rework wherever flux vapours are captured alongside particles.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Supplied as one complete cassette. It is also part of filter unit 02.1.033. Usable in LRA 150, 210, 220 and 250 as well as LAS 150, 220 and 250. Depending on the unit a prefilter works ahead of the cassette, ordered separately and changed more often.
